St Michael’s C of E Primary School is a Christian school for the community.
We welcome children whose families attend a church or other faith institution, as well as those who live in the school’s locality. We changed our Admissions Policy in September 2018: we now give as many points for living in the area as for regular attendance at church. We are seeking a balance between those who come from a Christian background and those living in the area who may come from other faith backgrounds or have no faith background. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and faith traditions. We do, however, expect that everyone who comes to St Michael’s will be fully supportive of the school as a Christian foundation. Before calling the school with an admissions query, please ensure you have filled out and submitted the Supplementary Information Form, found on the next few pages, so that our admissions officer can give you the best advice.
