Attendance
We believe our children’s future is created every day and every moment counts. Our aim is to ensure pupils have excellent levels of attendance and punctuality in order that they are able to succeed and thrive at school
Good school attendance improves your child’s chance of achieving their full potential: socially, emotionally and academically. The most common reason given for children to miss school is illness, however most of the time childhood ailments can be managed in school. For information on how Covid-19 absences are managed, please see the most recent Covid-19 updates. Authorisation to take your child out of school during term time is at the discretion of the Headteacher. Holidays during term time cannot be authorised. When considering your request the Headteacher will take into consideration: Please use the exceptional leave request form and return it to the office.
